Bernd Leno’s First Official Photos In An Arsenal Shirt As He Joins The Club.

The deal is done.  Bernd Leno was set to join Arsenal on Tuesday and this evening both clubs have confirmed the deal. Leno, 26, joins for a fee of around £20million and has signed a long-term contract, thought to be 5 years long. It is thought that David Ospina will leave the club this summer and leave Leno to compete with Petr Cech for the number one spot at the club. It's really going well for the gunners in this transfer window as the club expect to bring in more signings which can be a defender, winger and a midfielder.

Arsenal have completed their deal to sign Yacine Adli from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.

The 17-year-old midfielder is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in European football. Adli reportedly rejected the offer of a professional contract from PSG, which means he would be able to officially sign a deal with Arsenal when he turns in July.  Arsenal would have to pay a €255,000 (£223,000) compensation fee to PSG in order to sign Adli. According to RMC Sport, the midfielder has committed to a three-year contract with Arsenal, which also has the option for a further two seasons.  The report claims that Arsenal had been in talks with Adli even before Unai Emery was appointed as Arsene Wenger’s replacement, and the midfielder was ‘seduced’ by the Gunners’ proposal. Adli was given his senior debut by Emery this season as he came on as a late substitute in PSG’s final game of the season against Caen.  Adli has represented France at various youth levels and provided the most assists at the Under-17 World Cup last October.

Unai Emery pushing Arsenal to seal £60m deal for Cazorla replacement ASAP

Arsenal want to sign Corentin Tolisso from Bayern Munich for £60m, according to reports in Italy, despite the midfielder only moving to Germany last summer. CalcioInsider claim Unai Emery wants to sign the 23-year-old to strengthen his midfield. They say a Bayern source tells them the new head coach wants to spend £60m on the player, but the German club don’t want to let him go. With Santi Cazorla leaving, in addition to Francis Coquelin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal’s list of central-midfield options is growing ever smaller. Should Jack Wilshere or Aaron Ramsey leave this summer, or both, the situation would become even more urgent. Tolisso is certainly someone who could fill the gap and improve the team. Unless Ramsey does leave and bring in a big fee, I can’t see Arsenal having the funds to convince Bayern to sell though. The midfielder reached double figures for goals in 2017/18, scoring 10 and assisting seven in 40 appearances. Given his age, I’d imagine the Bundesliga

Arsenal are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Sokratis Papastathopoulos, according to reports from Germany. Borussia Dortmund defender is set to become the first signing of Unai Emery, although it has been Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat who has played a crucial role in recruiting the 29-year-old. Sky Germany reports that Sokratis arrived in London on Sunday evening and had a medical on the next day. The Gunners are due to pay €20 million (£17.5m) for the central defender, who would’ve been out of contract with Bundesliga outfit next summer. Greece international has been a regular fixture at the heart of Dortmund’s defence for the past four years, while he also has 79 caps for his country. Arsenal are set to bolster their defensive options even further ahead of the new campaign and are also targeting Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner. Stuttgart centre-back Benjamin Pavard is another player on the Gunners’ shortlist, although the German club have denied any

The right-back joins the club after his deal at Juventus expired, becoming Unai Emery's first signing during his tenure at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have announced the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer after his Juventus contract expired. As previously revealed by Goal, the 34-year-old right-back becomes Unai Emery's first signing as Gunners head coach, having taken over from Arsene Wenger at the end of the 2017-18 campaign. “Stephan brings huge experience and leadership to our squad," Emery told Arsenal's official website . "He’s a player with great quality with a very positive and determined attitude. Stephan will improve us on and off the pitch.” Emery’s first task as Gunners head coach was to strengthen a side which aims to close the gap on their Premier League rivals next season, with defence a clear priority having conceded 51 times in the Premier League during Arsene Wenger's final season in charge. With Hector Bellerin the only senio
