Arsenal have confirmed that they have agreed a multi million pounds deal with PepsiCo-owned drinks brand Gatorade. The deal according to the club is a 3 years deal according to the club. The club confirm Gatorade will be their official sports drink and sports nutrition partner for the next 3 years. The implication of the sponsorship agreement is that Arsenal players will hence fort be using Gatorade products during training and matches and the club’s sports science department will work with sport scientist at Gatorade on specialised nutrition plans for the squad. The agreement also gives Gatorade a range of branding and promotional rights. Although the club has not revealed the financial details of the deal, judging by previous deals, it is expected the deal will be in millions. Arsenal  have snapped up young defender Semi Ajayi on a free transfer following a successful trial spell. The 19-year-old, who was available on a free transfer after leaving  Charlton Athletic  in the summer, has penned a two-year contract with the Gunners.
