Arsenal Are Interested in Signing Nadiem Amiri As Ramsey's Replacement.

Image
The January transfer window is still a month away from being opened but clubs in the Premier League appear to have lined up their target for the window. According to emerging reports, Arsenal and Tottenham have signified interest in Germany and Hoffenheim attacking midfielder Nadiem Amiri. Amiri joined 1899 Hoffenheim in 2012 from from Waldhof Mannheim – he was highly rated before his move at that time but his growth has been stagnated as he has been unable to get into the first team of Julian Nagelsmann. He still recovering from a foot injury and that has been his major undoing this term. However, Bild has reported that Arsenal and Tottenham have signified interest in the attacking midfielder, along with Bundesliga side Schalke. He is valued at £15million, a fee which is reasonable considering the inflation in the market.Arsenal are said to be in the market for a player that would join in the stead of Aaron Ramsey and they are hoping that their relationship with Hoffenheim

Arsenal have parted with flop Lucas Perez.

LUCAS PEREZ IS NOW A WEST HAM PLAYER. The Spaniard has joined Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham on a three-year contract. Perez, who arrived at the Emirates from from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016, leaves for just £4m two-years later – that’s less than a quarter of the £17m fee the Gunners paid for the striker. He is Manuel Pellegrini’s ninth summer signing and their second from Arsenal following the capture of Jack Wilshere last month. As reported by BBC Sport, Perez said: “I’m very happy to be here at such an historic club. “I’m very excited, as West Ham are giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League and I’m very happy to be part of this new project. “West Ham have great fans and play in an amazing stadium, so to sign here brings me great joy. I’m very motivated.” Perez struggled to make an impression on both Arsene Wenger in his debut season and Unai Emery this summer. The striker, who netted a hat-trick on his Champions League debut for the Gunners, leaves after making just two Pr

Gunners could land Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele

Image
That’s according to Football London journalist Charles Watts. The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Barca this summer, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all rumoured to be interested. Dembele arrived at the Nou Camp last summer but has failed to make an impact on the team and the signing of Brazilian winger Malcom has pushed him further down the pecking order. The 21-year-old was pictured with several Arsenal players yesterday, including former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, sparking speculation a move to the Emirates could be on the cards. But in a Twitter Q&A, Watts revealed a deal is unlikely to happen unless it’s on a temporary basis. “Not close,” he said. “(Sven) Mislintat would love to get him, but Barca are adamant he is not going anyway. “Should that stance change and he suddenly become available next week, then I’m sure Arsenal would ask the question. “But I can’t see anyway how it could

The 22-year-old officially completed his £26.4 million move from Sampdoria this week after postponing his transfer because of the tournament. Arsenal were keen to complete the medical in Russia but the midfielder opted to delay proceedings until Uruguay’s run in the World Cup was over. Emery, however, ensured that Arsenal wouldn’t lose out on Torreira after deciding to speak with the midfielder before the start of Uruguay’s campaign in Russia. And Torreira admits he was ‘nervous’ about talking to Arsenal’s new manager. ‘When he called me, I could not believe it,’ Torreira told Ovacion. ‘I was in a hotel with a friend, and I got nervous. ‘It was difficult for me to talk because receiving the call from a coach of such an important team generates many things. Arsenal Have Completed The Signing Of Sokratis Papadopoulos

Image
Arsenal have completed their third signing of this summer transfer window as Sokratis Papadopoulos has agreed to join the Gunners. The Gunners have done a real good business in this summer transfer window as they are looking to strengthen their side to compete for the top four positions in the Premier League in the next season. Unai Emery has become the new manager of the Gunners after Arsene Wenger and he is trying to build a rock solid team for the next season. The Gunners were very much unbalanced in the defense as there was no proper leader in the defense for the Gunners. Laurent Koscielny was injured in fair amount of time for the Gunners in the previous season. Shkodran Mustafi was not comfortable against the top sides. That’s why, the defensive unit of the Gunners were looking vulnerable most of the times in the previous season. It was one of the reasons of their downfall in recent years. Unai Emery has been trying to reconstruct the defensive unit of the Gunners since the day o

Bernd Leno’s First Official Photos In An Arsenal Shirt As He Joins The Club.

The deal is done.  Bernd Leno was set to join Arsenal on Tuesday and this evening both clubs have confirmed the deal. Leno, 26, joins for a fee of around £20million and has signed a long-term contract, thought to be 5 years long. It is thought that David Ospina will leave the club this summer and leave Leno to compete with Petr Cech for the number one spot at the club. It's really going well for the gunners in this transfer window as the club expect to bring in more signings which can be a defender, winger and a midfielder.

Arsenal have completed their deal to sign Yacine Adli from Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in France.

Image
The 17-year-old midfielder is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in European football. Adli reportedly rejected the offer of a professional contract from PSG, which means he would be able to officially sign a deal with Arsenal when he turns in July.  Arsenal would have to pay a €255,000 (£223,000) compensation fee to PSG in order to sign Adli. According to RMC Sport, the midfielder has committed to a three-year contract with Arsenal, which also has the option for a further two seasons.  The report claims that Arsenal had been in talks with Adli even before Unai Emery was appointed as Arsene Wenger’s replacement, and the midfielder was ‘seduced’ by the Gunners’ proposal. Adli was given his senior debut by Emery this season as he came on as a late substitute in PSG’s final game of the season against Caen.  Adli has represented France at various youth levels and provided the most assists at the Under-17 World Cup last October.

Unai Emery pushing Arsenal to seal £60m deal for Cazorla replacement ASAP

Image
Arsenal want to sign Corentin Tolisso from Bayern Munich for £60m, according to reports in Italy, despite the midfielder only moving to Germany last summer. CalcioInsider claim Unai Emery wants to sign the 23-year-old to strengthen his midfield. They say a Bayern source tells them the new head coach wants to spend £60m on the player, but the German club don’t want to let him go. With Santi Cazorla leaving, in addition to Francis Coquelin and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal’s list of central-midfield options is growing ever smaller. Should Jack Wilshere or Aaron Ramsey leave this summer, or both, the situation would become even more urgent. Tolisso is certainly someone who could fill the gap and improve the team. Unless Ramsey does leave and bring in a big fee, I can’t see Arsenal having the funds to convince Bayern to sell though. The midfielder reached double figures for goals in 2017/18, scoring 10 and assisting seven in 40 appearances. Given his age, I’d imagine the Bundesliga

Arsenal €20m target completed medical in London

Arsenal are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Sokratis Papastathopoulos, according to reports from Germany. Borussia Dortmund defender is set to become the first signing of Unai Emery, although it has been Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat who has played a crucial role in recruiting the 29-year-old. Sky Germany reports that Sokratis arrived in London on Sunday evening and had a medical on the next day. The Gunners are due to pay €20 million (£17.5m) for the central defender, who would’ve been out of contract with Bundesliga outfit next summer. Greece international has been a regular fixture at the heart of Dortmund’s defence for the past four years, while he also has 79 caps for his country. Arsenal are set to bolster their defensive options even further ahead of the new campaign and are also targeting Juventus right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner. Stuttgart centre-back Benjamin Pavard is another player on the Gunners’ shortlist, although the German club have denied any

Arsenal sign Lichtsteiner on free transfer

The right-back joins the club after his deal at Juventus expired, becoming Unai Emery's first signing during his tenure at Emirates Stadium. Arsenal have announced the signing of Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer after his Juventus contract expired. As previously revealed by Goal, the 34-year-old right-back becomes Unai Emery's first signing as Gunners head coach, having taken over from Arsene Wenger at the end of the 2017-18 campaign. “Stephan brings huge experience and leadership to our squad," Emery told Arsenal's official website . "He’s a player with great quality with a very positive and determined attitude. Stephan will improve us on and off the pitch.” Emery’s first task as Gunners head coach was to strengthen a side which aims to close the gap on their Premier League rivals next season, with defence a clear priority having conceded 51 times in the Premier League during Arsene Wenger's final season in charge. With Hector Bellerin the only senio

Emery makes Arsenal contact with Sampdoria to sign impressive £22 million midfielder

Image
Reports have claimed Arsenal have joined Everton in the race for Sampdoria star Lucas Torreira, and have already made contact about a possible summer transfer deal. With boss Unai Emery firmly settled in at the Emirates, the Spaniards focus is now who to bring in and who to let go as he tries to get the Gunners back to the very top of the game next season. The Gunners are expected to sign the likes of  Sokratis  from Borussia Dortmund in the coming days, with talks progressing well, while  Stephen Lichsteiner  is seemingly on his way after agreeing to leave Juventus and test himself in the Premier League. Now the  TalkSport website  has claimed Emery has added Torreira to his shopping list, with the midfielder shining in the Italian league this season for Sampdoria. The Gunners are looking to sign a new central midfielder and have earmarked the 22-year-old as a possible transfer target, especially since Englishman  Jack Wilshere  could be leaving the club after failing to ag

Aaron Ramsey To Agree New Arsenal Deal.

Arsenal have offered Aaron Ramsey a new five-year deal but will sell the midfielder this summer if he turns it down, reports  The Daily Telegraph . Ramsey ’s current deal is due to expire at the end of next season and the Wales international is seeking a substantial pay rise on his current terms. The 27-year-old currently earns £110,000-a-week but is seeking a huge improvement on that following Arsenal’s January dealings. Arsenal forked out big contracts to Mesut Ozil, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan at the start of the year and Ramsey wants a new deal to reflect his own importance. Ramsey has said he is excited to work under new Arsenal manager Unai Emery, who is reportedly keen to build his team around the Welshman

Arsenal Transfer News: Aubameyang, Giroud, Evans, Debuchy, Reina-Adelaide, Akpom

Image
WHILE Arsenal celebrated Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s arrival, it was a frenetic day at the Emirates, with Olivier Giroud joined by four other players exiting, while the club missed out on West Brom captain Johnny Evans. Giroud’s £18million move to Chelsea was the biggest exit, but the club also let Mathieu Debuchy join St Etienne, Jeff Reine-Adelaide has been loaned to Angers and Chuba Akpom loaned to Sint-Truidense. Both players loaned out are highly rated at the club; the former is a French youth international heading home for the opportunity of first team football experience, and the latter is an England under-21 international. Krystian Bielik has also left Arsenal to join Walsall until the end of the season. Arsenal’s need to consolidate defensively saw a late play for Manchester City target, and former Manchester United central defender Evans, but with the money spent on Aubameyang and Mesut Ozil’s new deal, they were not able to match what West Brom demanded. "I always said as a kid that I'd like to play for United and I once spoke to Sir Alex Ferguson about it. We chatted for around 20 minutes. And I told him that my dream was to come here to Manchester United. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang To Arsenal Is Likely To Happen

Image
The top Arsenal target was dropped by the Bundesliga outfit for Friday's clash with Hertha Berlin. It was suggested he lacked the required focus to play. However,  Sky Sports  reckon the Gabon international is back with the senior squad despite speculation surrounding his future. He’s been heavily linked with a transfer to north London following Alexis Sanchez’s impending departure to  Manchester United . But the fact he’s not been forced to train with Dortmund’s kids could be a sign that a deal is some way off. Germany World Cup winner Thomas Berthold says Aubameyang need to mature quickly if he wants to be a success in the Premier League. “At Dortmund, it has reached the point where the employer has said to its employee, ‘My friend, it’s over’,” Berthold said. “For Arsenal, it is now a question of how they structure the handling of their players. Aubameyang presents a risk. “They must have a code of behaviour for the team - both on the pitch and away from
