Done Deal: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Gone to Barcelona

Image
The 32-year-old has touched down in Catalonia to try and finalise his loan switch to FC Barcelona from the Gunners after being exiled from the first-team fold in north London. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has touched down in Catalonia as the 32-year-old takes a step closer to sealing his loan switch to FCBarcelona from Arsenal. The Gabon international has not been seen in a Gunners shirt since early December after manager Mikel Arteta stripped him of the club captaincy and has forced him to train alone following his latest disciplinary breach. As a result, Aubameyang is desperate to end his time at the Emirates, so much so that he is reportedly willing to forgo the astronomical wages he finds himself on in north London. Following his FA Cup heroics of 2020, Aubameyang was rewarded with a mega-money contract that sees him take home £350,000 per-week while at Arsenal - money that Barcelona simply cannot afford to offer him due to their own precarious financial situation. However, Aubameyang

Arsenal's Calum Chambers Made Unbelievable Permanent Stich to Aston Villa.

Image
Calum Chambers sealed a move to Aston Villa on Thursday afternoon after seven and a half years at the Emirates Stadium. The move to the west Midlands club seemingly came out of the blue, with little talk of an exit from the Emirates Stadium before the former Southampton ace was announced as a Villa player. Now, he has taken to social media to send Arsenal supporters a farewell message, thanking former boss Arsene Wenger for bringing him to the club back in the summer of 2014. @CalumChambers95 7 years and a lifetime of memories later!! A special thanks to Arsene Wenger for making it possible and all the staff at London Colney Last but not least to all the fans that have supported me, you’ve made this experience one to remember! Calum.     The versatile defender slotted in at centre-back beside Per Mertesacker or Laurent Koscielny whilst also occasionally operating as a right-back, featuring 36 times across all competitions for the Gunners as he even made his England debut. It is real

Victor Osimhen is actually interested in Arsenal move as the transfer news develop?

Image
The Gunners are desperate to sign a striker before next season and they are very interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to recent reports. Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, have claimed that Osimhen is of interest to the north London outfit, with Newcastle United also reportedly keen on the 23-year-old. A deal for the Nigeria international appears unlikely this month considering we are into the final days of the window. However, the prolific frontman has previously admitted of his desire to one day play in the Premier League, potentially opening the door to a future move to the Emirates Stadium at some point in the future. Napoli are chasing a top four spot in Serie A and would be very unlikely to sell their star striker this month but a summer transfer is entirely possible because there's 70million price on the Nigerian born striker at the moment. Osimhen is currently on the comeback trail after suffering facial fractures against Inter Mil

Arsenal team news ahead of Carabao Cup semi-final second leg against Liverpool.

Image
There is a major boost for Arsenal as they are preparing to host Liverpool in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg on Thursday and their lack of options in midfield is genuine cause for concern. Since the Tottenham match was postponed there have been welcome returns to training for a large contingent, however. Among those back with the senior side are Emile Smith Rowe and Martin Odegaard, two players who missed the first leg of this tie with injury and Covid respectively. Arsenal have let players depart the club since the 0-0 draw, but these returns, along with others, mean there are no concerns over the fixture going ahead. We are still unsure, but there is the hope that Martin Odegaard, Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu will all be fit and ready to go this evening. Mikel Arteta’s lineup for Liverpool will only contain one central midfielder, though. Despite players becoming available for selection, the point remains that Albert Sambi Lokonga is the only senior option for the ro

Official: Udinese confirm the loan signing of Pablo Mari

Image
Udinese have signed Arsenal defender Pablo Mari on loan until the end of the season, the Italian club announced on Thursday.                                  The 28-year-old Spaniard has struggled for game time with the Premier League side this season, making three appearances in all competitions. He is a player who combines physical strength with technical quality and great ability in the air, valuable characteristics that have brought him to the top level in Europe. Udinese's loan deal however does not include an option to make Mari's move to Serie A permanent. Mari initially joined Arsenal on loan from      Brazilian side Flamengo in January 2020 before the move was made permanent six months later, but he has made only 22 appearances in two years in north London. And now Arsenal are trying to free up space and reduce the wages they pay in order for them to be able to bring in more players in the midfield and striking department because some of their players are away to Afcon

Dusan Vlahovic to seal Arsenal transfer is the hottest transfer rumors in Europe at the moment.

Image
Arsenal continued to be linked with a move to sign Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic this January, and his former sporting director seems to think it would be a good move.                                         The 21-year-old is one of Europe’s most exciting young talents at the moment, and it seems he’s always been very highly regarded by his old club Partizan Belgrade. Partizan chief Ivica Iliev spoke to the Daily Mirror about Vlahovic’s rise to the top, and insisted that the Serbia international can still keep improving and become one of the best in the world. He stressed, however, that he thinks Vlahovic should choose his next club carefully, and named Arsenal as an ideal choice for the youngster to ensure he’s playing regularly. The Gunners have made it clear the Fiorentina hitman is their number one target in the current window as they look to add the highly-rated no.9 to their ranks. Arsenal's urgency to get the deal down in January is understandable, it becomes a much har

Sead Kolasinac has joined Marseille on an 18 month deal as a free agent

Image
Bosnia and Herzegovina defender Sead Kolasinac has joined Marseille on an 18 month deal, the French club announced on Tuesday. Kolasinac, 28, has signed a contract until June 2023 after leaving the Emirates as a free agent with his deal terminated “by mutual consent”, the Gunners announced in their own statement. Spending six seasons in Schalke’s first team squad, Sead was named in the Bundesliga Team of the Season for 2016/17 before signing for us that summer. He won the FA Cup once and the Community Shield twice since arriving in north London from Schalke in 2017.The Bosnia and Herzegovina international, who spent the second half of last season back on loan with Schalke, made 118 appearances in all competitions during his time with us. The 43-time international spent the six months of last season on loan back at the German side and has played just 270 minutes for the Gunners this term. We wish him well as he has gone to his new club. He becomes Marseille’s second January signing afte

Roma reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Maitland-Niles on loan.

Image
The 24-year-old is set to join Roma on a temporary basis until the end of the season and it is anticipated that he will make his debut in Sunday's Serie A game at home to Juventus. Maitland-Niles was seen posing for photographers after leaving the airport in Rome before getting into a car. AS Roma initial proposal included an option to buy the 24-year-old at the end of the season, but this was turned down by the Gunners, although the Italian side are still interested in signing him permanently in the summer if they can raise the funds. The Serie A club will pay his wages in full, and will also pay the Gunners a loan fee plus bonuses. The move is dependent upon the player visiting the Italian embassy in London to secure a work permit. Allowing Maitland-Niles ot go is seen by many as a sure sign that Arsenal will be signing a midfield replacement in the current market. They are short of cover in that area of the pitch, having lost both Thomas Partey
