Arsenal have parted with flop Lucas Perez.

LUCAS PEREZ IS NOW A WEST HAM PLAYER. The Spaniard has joined Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham on a three-year contract. Perez, who arrived at the Emirates from from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016, leaves for just £4m two-years later – that’s less than a quarter of the £17m fee the Gunners paid for the striker. He is Manuel Pellegrini’s ninth summer signing and their second from Arsenal following the capture of Jack Wilshere last month. As reported by BBC Sport, Perez said: “I’m very happy to be here at such an historic club. “I’m very excited, as West Ham are giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League and I’m very happy to be part of this new project. “West Ham have great fans and play in an amazing stadium, so to sign here brings me great joy. I’m very motivated.” Perez struggled to make an impression on both Arsene Wenger in his debut season and Unai Emery this summer. Gunners could land Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele

That’s according to Football London journalist Charles Watts. The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Barca this summer, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United all rumoured to be interested. Dembele arrived at the Nou Camp last summer but has failed to make an impact on the team and the signing of Brazilian winger Malcom has pushed him further down the pecking order. The 21-year-old was pictured with several Arsenal players yesterday, including former Borussia Dortmund team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, sparking speculation a move to the Emirates could be on the cards. But in a Twitter Q&A, Watts revealed a deal is unlikely to happen unless it’s on a temporary basis. “Not close,” he said. “(Sven) Mislintat would love to get him, but Barca are adamant he is not going anyway. “Should that stance change and he suddenly become available next week, then I’m sure Arsenal would ask the question. “But I can’t see anyway how it could
