Oleksandr Zinchenko: Arsenal working on deal for Manchester City defender and are expected to make a bid soon

Zinchenko has won four Premier League titles with Manchester City but only made 15 league appearances last season; Arsenal have already signed Gabriel Jesus from Pep Guardiola's side this summer; the Gunners accepted defeat in their attempts to sign Ajax's Lisandro Martinez. Arsenal are interested in Manchester City defender Oleksandr Zinchenko and are expected to formally bid for the player. It is thought City would be open to doing business on Zinchenko if their valuation is met. The 25-year-old can cover a variety of positions, including left-back and central midfield. Arsenal have been in the market for a left-sided defender and were trying to sign Manchester United bound Lisandro Martinez from Ajax.   City, meanwhile, want to bring in a left-back and remain interested in Brighton's Marc Cucurella, as Sky Sports News revealed back in June. Richarlison has been signed by Tottenham from Everton.

  Tottenham Hotspur   have completed the signing of   Richarlison   from   Everton , it was announced on Friday. Sources told ESPN on Thursday  that Spurs were closing in on signing the Brazilian striker for a club-record fee in the region of £60 million. ESPN also reported that Spurs are likely to pay an initial £50m with as much as £10m in add-ons, with Richarlison signing a five-year contract. A statement from Tottenham said: "We are delighted to announce the signing of Richarlison from Everton, subject to a work permit." An Everton statement said: "Richarlison has completed a transfer from Everton to Tottenham Hotspur for an undisclosed fee. "Everyone at Everton would like to thank Richarlison for his service and commitment during his time with the Club." Richarlison, 25, scored 10 goals and assisted five times in 30 Premier League games for Everton last season, as the club narrowly avoided relegation with a 16th-placed finish. Barcelona’s busy summer has begun as the club announced the signing of former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie. He joins the Catalan side as a free agent and signed deal until 2026 with a €500 million release clause. According to Goal , Kessie is set to earn €6.5 million and could potentially earn more off incentives. His signing has been all but confirmed for a while now with the only thing left was for the club to issue an official statement. It will be interesting to see where he is deployed by manager Xavi Hernandez. He is not considered to be the replacement or the back-up to Sergio Busquets. The 25-year-old is at his best going forward and he demonstrated that during his time with AC Milan where he played an important part in helping the Italian side win Serie A for the first time in 11 years.
