Emery makes Arsenal contact with Sampdoria to sign impressive £22 million midfielder

Reports have claimed Arsenal have joined Everton in the race for Sampdoria star Lucas Torreira, and have already made contact about a possible summer transfer deal. With boss Unai Emery firmly settled in at the Emirates, the Spaniards focus is now who to bring in and who to let go as he tries to get the Gunners back to the very top of the game next season. Arsenal have offered Aaron Ramsey a new five-year deal but will sell the midfielder this summer if he turns it down, reports  The Daily Telegraph . Ramsey ’s current deal is due to expire at the end of next season and the Wales international is seeking a substantial pay rise on his current terms. The 27-year-old currently earns £110,000-a-week but is seeking a huge improvement on that following Arsenal’s January dealings. An excellent transfer deadline day for the Gunners has been followed by the news their Germany star has agreed a new deal Arsenal have confirmed that Mesut Ozil has signed a new long-term contract with the club. New Arsenal signing Henrik Mkhitaryan has described his move to the Emirates as a "dream come true". Alexis Sanchez who moves in the opposite direction to Manchester United.
