Arsenal line-up £15m rated Pablo Fornals to replace Santi Cazorla


According to a report in the Mirror, Arsenal are eyeing a move for Malaga’s £15m-rated midfielder Pablo Fornals as a potential long-term replacement for Santi Cazorla.
Despite on-going doubts over his future at the club, Arsene Wenger is still pressing ahead with his summer transfer plans as he looks to re-shape his squad following another disappointing campaign.
Central midfield has been an area of concern ever since Cazorla was sidelined back in October and we need to find a long-term replacement for the 32-year-old as he can’t be relied upon to stay fit due to his dodgy Achilles.
It looks like Arsene has found his man as the Mirror are citing a report from Marca that claims Arsenal are lining-up a swoop for Pablo Fornals after regularly scouting the Malaga midfielder throughout the season.
The 21-year-old has enjoyed an excellent campaign for mid-table Malaga and has already earned his first cap for the senior Spain team so he looks like he has a huge future ahead of him.
Fornals is under contract with Malaga until 2019 and the Mirror suggest he’ll cost around £15m, which sounds like a good deal in today’s over-inflated market.

Arsenal complete signing of Cedric Soares from Southampton.

   Arsenal have completed the signing of Portugal defender Cedric Soares from Southampton. The 28-year-old has joined Mikel Arteta's side on loan until the end of the season but he only has six months remaining on his contract at Southampton. He will compete alongside Hector Bellerin for the right-back slot with the Gunners and revealed he nearly joined the club previously in his career, but did not specify when.
