Nicolas Pepe to Have Arsenal Medicals in The Next Few Hours

The Gunners have agreed a deal with Lille worth up to £72m – a club record – but will pay the remaining £52m in installments over five years.

The Ivorian forward is expected to undergo a medical before the end of the week latest by tomorrow.
Arsenal target and Ivory Coast international, Nicolas Pepe is expected to arrive at Emirates Stadium anytime soon for his medical.
The Gunners have made big progress in their move to sign him this summer.
Daily Mirror reports that Pepe was spotted at the Miami airport in the United States today, where he is enjoying his holiday in the United States following the end of the African Cup of Nations.
Pepe was spotted taking picture with his fans at the Airport before his departure. The report added that the 24-year-old is most likely on his way to the French club, Lille, from where he would finally fly to London and complete his transfer deal with the Gunners.
Arsenal have reportedly reached a transfer agreement of £72 million with Lille for the top attacker but the only detail left is an agreement with the demands of the player’s agent.
The Gunners are expected to pay the transfer fee in parts which would fit their transfer budget over the years.
Unai Emery is determined to add new faces to his squad ahead of the new season and Pepe looks set to complete the move as the alternative for Wilfried Zaha.
The arrival of Pepe will boost Arsenal record next season. The Ivory Coast star will mostly cover the left-wing area.
