Cristiano Ronaldo Pick A Point For The Red Devils As He Cancelled Marcos Alonso Opener.

Image
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first Premier League goal in a 1-1 draw against Chelsea in Thursday's Premier League clash at Old Trafford for Manchester United. Ronaldo, who has now scored United's last five goals, found the net just two minutes after Chelsea had taken a deserved 60th-minute lead through Marcos Alonso. The Red Devils have lost three out of their last four games in the Premier League - including back-to-back away defeats at Liverpool and then Arsenal. It is a huge game in the Manchester outfit's season as they look to keep tabs with those chasing a top-four spot. Despite controlling much of the game, Chelsea failed to make the most of a host of chances in a contest between two teams' whose tumultuous seasons are drifting toward their conclusion. Emirates Stadium side keen on PSV Eindhoven teenager. Arsenal are reportedly running the rule over young Dutch international Jetro Willems as Arsene Wenger looks to ably add strength in depth to the left side of the Gunners defence. The teenage PSV Eindhoven starlet was part of Bert Van Marwijk’s Euro 2012 squad and is a player who has shown a great deal of potential since his move to the Philips Stadion in the summer of 2011. Willems has been a regular in Dick Advocaat’s PSV starting line-up this term, helping his side to an excellent start to the Eredivisie campaign where they sit just a point off leaders FC Twente. Wenger has seen Andre Santos produce a series of poor displays and the furore that followed his request for Robin Van Persie’s Man United shirt last weekend led to the Brazilian being dropped for the Champions League encounter with Schalke. Young England international Kieran Gibbs has impressed when called upon to fill the left-back slot but has suffe...

Good News For Arsenal Fans : Liverpool’s Director Ian Ayre Hints Suarez Could Be Sold

Image
After the summer debacle of ‘ I want to go’, ‘ no, you cannot and will not be sold’ and after serving his ban for biting Ivanovic, Suarez has returned to action for Liverpool. He made his comeback in the loss to Manchester United but bagged a brace in the win over Sunderland. Is all well now or is it just an attempt to sweep the issue under the carpet till another transfer window is opened and their resolve to hang on to him tested? But Liverpool’s managing director Ian Ayre has given the slightest indication that all isn’t well still between Suarez and Liverpool. “Any types of incident of that nature are damaging to a brand, but Liverpool Football Club always will be way bigger than any one player,” said Ayre. “Nobody is condoning any bad behaviour, but it is just something you have to deal with.” (Daily Express) It seems Liverpool aren’t happy with him and are just bidding their time and probably waiting for an offer that matches or at least edges closer to their valuati...
