Kieran Gibbs Set To Miss 4 Weeks Of Action Due To Calf Injury
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has dampen Arsenal fans’s celebration by revealing influential defender Kieran Gibbs has gotten a calf injury in the 2-0 win over Liverpool few minutes ago. Gibbs who was superb for the gunners was pulled out and replaced by bench warming team captain Thomas Vermaelen.
Gibbs was seeing limping off the picture with some Arsenal fans on social media network twitter claiming it is a likely hamstring problem. Wenger has not confirmed during his post match press conference that the injury Gibbs scoped was actually a calf injury.
Talking to the press men, Wenger said : “It is a calf problem, I don’t know how bad it is.”
Although the Frenchman confirms he does not know how bad the injury is, it is speculated that the English left back will likely miss as much as 4 weeks of action, but i hope it is not true because what Gibbs is currently contributing to the team is huge.
