Arsenal's Calum Chambers Made Unbelievable Permanent Stich to Aston Villa.

Calum Chambers sealed a move to Aston Villa on Thursday afternoon after seven and a half years at the Emirates Stadium.

The move to the west Midlands club seemingly came out of the blue, with little talk of an exit from the Emirates Stadium before the former Southampton ace was announced as a Villa player.

Now, he has taken to social media to send Arsenal supporters a farewell message, thanking former boss Arsene Wenger for bringing him to the club back in the summer of 2014.

@CalumChambers95

7 years and a lifetime of memories later!! A special thanks to Arsene Wenger for making it possible and all the staff at London Colney Last but not least to all the fans that have supported me, you’ve made this experience one to remember! Calum.

The versatile defender slotted in at centre-back beside Per Mertesacker or Laurent Koscielny whilst also occasionally operating as a right-back, featuring 36 times across all competitions for the Gunners as he even made his England debut.

It is really unfortunate that he could not cement his place in the starting eleven in the current Arsenal team.

Good luck to you Calum Chambers.
