Victor Osimhen is actually interested in Arsenal move as the transfer news develop?

 

The Gunners are desperate to sign a striker before next season and they are very interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to recent reports.

Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, via Football Italia, have claimed that Osimhen is of interest to the north London outfit, with Newcastle United also reportedly keen on the 23-year-old.

A deal for the Nigeria international appears unlikely this month considering we are into the final days of the window.

However, the prolific frontman has previously admitted of his desire to one day play in the Premier League, potentially opening the door to a future move to the Emirates Stadium at some point in the future.

Napoli are chasing a top four spot in Serie A and would be very unlikely to sell their star striker this month but a summer transfer is entirely possible because there's 70million price on the Nigerian born striker at the moment.

Osimhen is currently on the comeback trail after suffering facial fractures against Inter Milan.
While he has also had to twice battle back from bouts with Covid-19.

When he has managed to take to the field this season, Osimhen has been prolific, the former Lille ace has bagged nine goals in 16 outings for Napoli this term.

Arsenal have completed a deal to sign Runar Alex Runarsson from Dijon today, as confirmed by their official website. Runarsson joined Dijon from FC Nordsjaelland, and although he started as first choice, underwhelming performances saw him lose his place to Alfred Gomis. He played 45 games for the Ligue 1 side.
