Swans to meet Gunners again


Swansea have been handed a home tie against Arsenal in the FA Cup in this afternoon's draw for the third round.
The two sides met in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday and the south Wales outfit increased the pressure of Gunners boss Arsene Wenger as they ran out 2-0 winners at the Emirates Stadium.
All third-round ties will take place on the weekend of the 5/6 January.

Good News For Arsenal Fans : Liverpool’s Director Ian Ayre Hints Suarez Could Be Sold

After the summer debacle of ‘ I want to go’, ‘ no, you cannot and will not be sold’ and after serving his ban for biting Ivanovic, Suarez has returned to action for Liverpool. He made his comeback in the loss to Manchester United but bagged a brace in the win over Sunderland. Is all well now or is it just an attempt to sweep the issue under the carpet till another transfer window is opened and their resolve to hang on to him tested? Ronaldo Voted For Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil In Ballon d’Or Poll

In fairness, while Messi was excellent once again during 2013, you couldn’t really begrudge Ronaldo winning the award as he was simply sensational.  Things may have turned out differently had Messi not picked up a couple of ill-timed injuries, but I think the right man won in the end. The voting system is made up of votes from each captain, manager and a media representative of FIFA member nations. Being Portugal’s captain, Ronaldo was also able to submit his ‘top 3′ players for the year and while he predictably ignored his closest rivals, the attacker did select Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil as one of picks.
