Turkish giants admit there is a high possibility they will sign Arsenal ace
Marouane Chamakh could be on his way out of Arsenal for this season as Malaga and Besiktas have made loan offers for the struggling striker. The 28-year-old when signed for free from Bordeaux in 2010 was considered as a master stroke from Arsene Wenger. He started the season brightly, scoring 11 goals and providing eight assists for the Gunners. However, last season was utterly frustrating for him as he spent most of the time serving as deputy of ex-skipper Robin van Persie, scoring only one goal in 14 league appearances. Despite the departure of the Dutchman to Manchester United, his position at the club hasn’t improved as Arsenal recruited Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud to bolster their attacking options. Bereft of confidence, he is now looking to get some play time elsewhere; with Spanish outfit Malaga and Turkish club Besiktas have made loan offers while Everton, Fiorentina and his former club Bordeaux have also registered interest in signing him.
