Match Preview And Predicted Lineup Arsenal vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Image
Arsenal will look at getting a second win over Wolverhampton Wanderers within the space of 2 weeks when Bruno's men arrive at the Emirates Stadium for Thursday's Premier League clash. The Gunners won 1-0 at Molineux back on February 10 and head into the midweek battle one place and two points better off than their opponents having played a game fewer. The two teams are in the fight for the top four, the spot is very congested at the moment because the likes of Man United, Westham and Spurs are also in the race for it.  Gabriel Martinelli was forced to miss the weekend’s match after getting a double-yellow card against Wolves two weeks ago, and could well return to the starting line-up because of his recent form and he will definitely be looking to get the opportunity to play again.  Bernd Leno recently recovered from Coronavirus of late, while Takehiro Tomiyasu recovered from injury to make the squad for the weekend’s clash against Brentford, but he is yet to feature since his

Arsenal vs Brentford Match review.

Arsenal was actually seeking for revenge of their first match defeat to Brentford this time around that they were able to parade almost their full squad. The line up: Ramsdale Cedric White Gabriel Tierney Saka Partey Xhaka Smith Rowe Odegaard Lacazette The match started by 4pm at the emirate stadium and the boys were really up for it because they all over the pitch running with the ball and mostly against the Bees.   The Bees were very organized at the defense because Arsenal could not break their defense in the first 45 minute despite all the pressure from Arsenal in the first half. Though, there were two different call for penalty against the Bees because there was hand ball in their 18 box on two different occasion, the funniest thing is that the ref did not even bother to check the VAR despite the call, it was really unfair. The match went 0-0 in the first half but Arsenal was with lots of hope coming back in the second 45 minute to pull something up. Emile Smith Rowe  continued h

Confirmed Arsenal Team News And Possible Line Up

Image
The boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that  Martinelli will be the only absentee when his side take on Brentford this afternoon by 4pm as we look to avenge our 2-0 loss from earlier in this campaign. Brentford put in an impressive display to defeat us on the opening week of the season, but we had a number of players sidelined for that matchup due to injuries and Covid 19 cases. This time around we have almost our entire squad fit and ready for action, as confirmed by the Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta. The boss told Arsenal Media that ‘we are all good’ when asked about whether any players would be missing. That means we have both Bernd Leno and Takehiro Tomiyasu both back after Covid and injury respectably.     Gabriel Martinelli is suspended however, having got a double yellow card in our most recent outing against Wolves last week. Predicted Arsenal XI: Ramsdale Tomiyasu White Gabriel Tierney Saka Partey Xhaka Pepe or Smith Rowe Odegaard Lacazette This team should have too much for Brent

Arsenal are showing interest in signing Kalvin Phillips

Image
The report growing in the media is that Arsenal are claimed to be interested in the signing of Kalvin Phillips from Leeds United in the summer transfer window. It has been reported that Arsenal are among the clubs that are monitoring the situation of Phillips, who has yet to open talks with Leeds over signing a new contract. Leeds use to be a big club, but Arsenal are bigger and also have a global fanbase. The Gunners are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four, and there is a strong chance that the North London club could return to the Champions League next season. The England star is one of the finest players in his position in the Premier League and he starred for the Three Lions at Euro 2020. The Whites know they have a top player on their hands and they have plans to extend his current deal. But those plans have not taken off yet and it could make them lose the player who is also an home grown player. 90 Mins says his current deal will expire 2024, but he has a lot of int

Jack Wilshere Is Fully Fit, Should Arsenal Bring Him Back As Cover?

Image
Jack Wilshere arrives with a lot of promise and hype. It was deserved. Club fans have great memories of Barca's performance and Norwich's goal. He never lacked technical ability and passion. He has a soft left foot and is able to pass long and short. His ability to dribble through the middle was never in doubt. He could make a good deep-lying midfielder for a team that tries to build from the back like Arteta's Arsenal. He can be useful against sit-in teams thanks to his ability to play in tight spaces and commit fouls. He can add experience to a team that sometimes lacks it. He's 30 years old and has played against the best and worst of his career. He is one of those people who is never threatened by any player or official. His career was marred by injury and a wave of discipline. A history of trauma makes any potential deal a high-risk one. Arteta has played with Wilshere and will know the baggage of his former teammate.  This may be the cause of the hesitation when

Arsenal have huge fitness concern ahead of facing Wolves

Image
There is a huge concern in Arsenal at the moment regarding the fitness of some key players, we all know that Arsenal squad was drastically reduced to during the conclude transfer window and the was no reasonable replacement.     After being knocked out of the FA Cup in round 3, fans have to wait even longer to see Arsenal in action. A training camp in Dubai offers fun training videos and smiles in the sunshine, but with the oldest World Cup competition taking place over the weekend, all that's left to do is twirl your fingers yours.  With a tight friendly against Reading, everyone is looking forward to February 10 when the Gunners travel to Molineux to face Wolves.  The Wanderers have a very busy month of fixtures coming up and it will be key to their European hopes. Only 2 points behind Mikel Arteta's side in the rankings, they should be considered in the top 4 thanks to their efficiency and excellent defensive record. Similarly, if they win all 3 points on Thursday, they wil
