Our sources have reported that Barcelona have accepted Arsenal’s bid for David Villa

The Spaniard is expected to fly in to London this evening before the deadline to sign a 3-year-deal worth 110k p/w deal.
The deal is very much on according to a source in Spain but we all hope this is true. By the end of the transfer window we will all know how true.

Arsenal have parted with flop Lucas Perez.

LUCAS PEREZ IS NOW A WEST HAM PLAYER. The Spaniard has joined Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham on a three-year contract. Perez, who arrived at the Emirates from from Deportivo La Coruna in 2016, leaves for just £4m two-years later – that’s less than a quarter of the £17m fee the Gunners paid for the striker. He is Manuel Pellegrini’s ninth summer signing and their second from Arsenal following the capture of Jack Wilshere last month. As reported by BBC Sport, Perez said: “I’m very happy to be here at such an historic club. “I’m very excited, as West Ham are giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League and I’m very happy to be part of this new project. “West Ham have great fans and play in an amazing stadium, so to sign here brings me great joy. Arsenal complete signing of Cedric Soares from Southampton.

   Arsenal have completed the signing of Portugal defender Cedric Soares from Southampton. The 28-year-old has joined Mikel Arteta's side on loan until the end of the season but he only has six months remaining on his contract at Southampton. He will compete alongside Hector Bellerin for the right-back slot with the Gunners and revealed he nearly joined the club previously in his career, but did not specify when. This has been the expectation of  so many fans, they have demanded for a proper cover for the right full back instead of using Niles in the wrong position which has cost the team some few times.
