Arsenal After Llorente Loan Deal

Reports suggest Arsenal are discussing the possibility of making a loan move for Juventus striker Fernando Llorente as the Spaniard goes in search for constant first-team football to make the World Cup squad.

Wenger is still searching for an out-and-out striker to partner Olivier Giroud up front and the Daily Mail believe the Frenchman will make a move in January for Llorente.

Having joined Juventus in the summer, Llorente has played second fiddle to Carlos Tevez and Mirko Vucinic, as well as sharing game time with Fabio Quagliarella and Sebastian Giovinco.

Llorente has scored just one goal for his new club in five appearances, the winner in a 2-1 victory at home to Hellas Verona last month.

The article suggests the 28-year-old would be interested in a short-term switch to the Emirates because of the almost guaranteed starting place as he looks to force himself into a competitive Spanish national team squad.
