Arsenal vs. Dortmund Preview, Prediction and Line-up

Arsenal vs Borussia Dortmund preview, line up and score line by KJ
This is the sort of game you look forward to as an Arsenal fan. This is what being in the Champions league is all about. We host the Champions league finalist of last season at the Emirates. Borussia Dortmund are going to be one of the toughest tests we’ll have this season at the Emirates. They have a ridiculously lethal front three and follow a positive attacking philosophy under manager Jurgen Klopp.
With both team’s form, this is going to be a very exciting game to watch and it’ll be intriguing to see how we look to counteract Dortmund’s potent attack. It’s fair to say that Sagna and Gibbs have their work cut out for the night. They both will have to deal with Reus and Kuba/Aubameyang respectively. All three of them are extremely pacey wide players who are technically sound. But I predict we can have a lot of fun on the flanks as well thanks to a make shift defender and an average left back. Cazorla and Wilshere/Rosicky will need to have a go at Dortmund’s fullbacks. Good movement and dribbling should be able to get the better of Schmelzer and Grosskreutz.
Line up:
Szczesny
Sagna – Mertesacker – Koscielny – Gibbs
Arteta – Ramsey
Wilshere – Özil – Cazorla
Giroud
This is our best line up at the moment. There are some worries as Flamini is not in the squad for tomorrow because of a concussion and Arteta will have to replace him. I’m personally not too worried as I know Arteta is capable. It’s more important that both Wilshere and Ramsey look to help Arteta out with their work rate defensively.
Giroud, Cazorla and Özil will most likely be key to our attacking play. Cazorla will hopefully be a bit better than Saturday as he seemed a bit rusty and as long as Özil and Giroud are still combining well, I can’t see us not scoring a couple of goals.
This is going to be a tough game which will rely on Sagna and Gibbs being their absolute best. But I’m confident that we can win this game 2 – 1.
