Arsenal vs. Norwich will see the return of several stars! by Ash
Now the international break is finally over once again all the players will return to training with their respective clubs and Arsenal have some good injury news for once. Arsenal will line up against Norwich City at the Emirates this Saturday and hopefully with a bit of luck we could see a few Arsenal stars back in and amongst the line-up.
Arsenal have got one of the worst current injury lists, however this week off for the international break has actually been quite useful because it has allowed players to recover from both injury and exhaustion, as well as allowing the management team to keep a close eye on any changes they are interested in making.
Arsenal fans will be glad to hear that Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott are likely to return to first team training this week, whilst there’s also a small chance that Lukas Podolski could also return. Cazorla has been nursing an ankle injury for around a month now, whilst Walcott had an abdominal pain in his stomach which needed a minor operation. Both seem to be well on the road to recovery and seem far along enough to return to training with the Gunners ahead of the club’s next ambitious step in the chase for the Premier League title.
The returns of Walcott, Cazorla and Podolski are all very much anticipated and it will be interesting to see who, if anyone gets dropped in place for one of those mentioned. It is pretty incredible what Arsenal have done without three of last season’s front four. The likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and of course Abou Diaby is a tad longer in recovery length however they are also seemingly progressing well and it will be a fantastic sight when the entire squad is fit and ready to take on the challenge of the Premier League and Champions League.
I for one am most looking forward to seeing the partnership between Cazorla and Ozil, however to know we also have the effective players on the bench is also a very good factor to show we are ready to challenge this season amongst the big clubs and hopefully even win a trophy this time around. It all restarts against Norwich this Saturday; Come on you Gunners!
