Arsenal, Chelsea, United offered new hope on Lewandowski transfer

Robert Lewandowski playing for Poland, with József Varga and Vilmos Vanczák

Robert Lewandowski going to Bayern Munich? Not necessarily... The following could make Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal sit up and take notice.
German football's worst kept secret has been Robert Lewandowski's impending transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.
The freescoring Polish striker's contract expires at the end of the season and he is free to negotiate a move and sign a deal from January 1.

But hold on... there is a little hope on the horizon.
Lewandowski last month told the Polish press he intends on signing with Bayern, seemingly ending any distant chance of him signing for a Premier League side.
Spanish newspaper AS report that Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is having second thoughts about the transfer.
"Despite having a verbal agreement to sign with Bayern next season, Guardiola has doubts on the front and slowed his arrival. Madrid is aware of this and is vigilant."
Real Madrid know all about what he is capable of, having seen the Pole wreck their Champions League prospects with a superb four goal show.
While we would still expect the deal to come off, Guardiola's hesitance is interesting.
When they demolished Manchester City at the Etihad last week, Guardiola lined Bayern up with usual wide man Thomas Muller up front, leaving forward Mario Mandzukic on the bench.
If the 'False Nine' system is one Guardiola is insistent upon progressing with, signing striker Robert Lewandowski would not fit with that vision.
A small glimmer of hope for the Premier League clubs ArsenalChelsea and Manchester United, all linked with his signature, but hope nonetheless.
This will be really good if Arsenal can do the deal.
