Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla could be set to hand the club a boost by returning to the starting line up in time for their Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion on October 6, Sky Sports  reports. Thomas Eisfeld bagged a goal against West Brom yesterday ... now he has his eyes set on a permanent place in the first-team. Arsenal  are through to the next round of the  Capital One Cup  after  overcoming the threat of West Brom at The Hawthorns last night.  Nicklas Bendtner was playing in his comeback game for the club and despite running into a post he also bagged the assist for Thomas  Eisfeld ’s opener in the second half - after a poor first-half display from both outfits. And because it was the Dane who bagged the assist, on his long awaited return to first-team action with Arsenal , it was almost forgotten that this was  Eisfeld ’s first senior goal for the club on what was his full debut. Arsenal secured passage to the 4th round of the Capital One Cup after a dramatic penalty shootout win over West Brom. Arsenal took the lead in the 2nd half when Elsfeld was played through by a good pass from returning striker Niklas Bendtner but a moment of lapse of concentration in defence saw the Baggies draw level when their striker headed in from a close range. Fabianski stood no chance. The extra 30 minutes produced no winner which meant penalties had to be used to decide the winner. Arsenal have confirmed that they have agreed a multi million pounds deal with PepsiCo-owned drinks brand Gatorade. The deal according to the club is a 3 years deal according to the club. The club confirm Gatorade will be their official sports drink and sports nutrition partner for the next 3 years. The implication of the sponsorship agreement is that Arsenal players will hence fort be using Gatorade products during training and matches and the club’s sports science department will work with sport scientist at Gatorade on specialised nutrition plans for the squad. The agreement also gives Gatorade a range of branding and promotional rights. Although the club has not revealed the financial details of the deal, judging by previous deals, it is expected the deal will be in millions. Arsenal  have snapped up young defender Semi Ajayi on a free transfer following a successful trial spell. The 19-year-old, who was available on a free transfer after leaving  Charlton Athletic  in the summer, has penned a two-year contract with the Gunners. Nigeria  Under-21 international Ajayi, who turned down the offer of a six-month deal at Norwich following a trial at Carrow Road, announced his move on Twitter.
