Arsenal complete signing of Cedric Soares from Southampton.

   Arsenal have completed the signing of Portugal defender Cedric Soares from Southampton. The 28-year-old has joined Mikel Arteta's side on loan until the end of the season but he only has six months remaining on his contract at Southampton. He will compete alongside Hector Bellerin for the right-back slot with the Gunners and revealed he nearly joined the club previously in his career, but did not specify when. This has been the expectation of  so many fans, they have demanded for a proper cover for the right full back instead of using Niles in the wrong position which has cost the team some few times. Personal Terms Agreed On £90,000-A-week Deal As Midfielder Looks To Join Arsenal

The Gunners have been targeting the signing of the 21-year-old largely due to the uncertain future of star midfielder Mesut Ozil. Arsene Wenger submitted a $40 million offer for Lemar which was rejected by AS Monaco last month. However, the Sun are now claiming that the French midfielder has agreed personal terms with Arsenal over a move to the Emirates stadium. Lemar has reportedly given the greenlight to a £90,000-a-week deal with the Gunners who have already secured the acquisition of his France teammate Alexandre Lacazette. This comes after reports by L’Equipe which claimed that Wenger had submitted a new $51.3 million offer for the Monaco star.
