Mesut Ozil Was Right To Join Arsenal – Khedira

Real Madrid’s defensive midfielder, Sami Khedira has told the media in Germany that he feels Mesut Ozil’s transfer to Arsenal is the best for his fellow country man. Ozil was sold to Arsenal in a 42.5 million pound deal on the very last day of the transfer window.
During an interview with ESPN, Khedira congratulated his national team mate on the move claiming the high rated midfielder has made the right decision for himself.
“It is his decision and he personally made this decision.
“In football you can’t always decide what’s good for you and what’s not, therefore I believe it’s the best step for him.
“Good luck to him.”
Khedira himself was close to a move away from Real Madrid in the last window. He was a subject of a 30 million pound bid from Manchester United which was outrightly rejected by Real Madrid as they do not want to sell 2 important players in the same window.

Arsenal have completed a deal to sign Runar Alex Runarsson from Dijon today, as confirmed by their official website. Runarsson joined Dijon from FC Nordsjaelland, and although he started as first choice, underwhelming performances saw him lose his place to Alfred Gomis. He played 45 games for the Ligue 1 side.
