Arsenal have snapped up young defender Semi Ajayi on a free transfer following a successful trial spell.
The 19-year-old, who was available on a free transfer after leaving Charlton Athletic in the summer, has penned a two-year contract with the Gunners.
Nigeria Under-21 international Ajayi, who turned down the offer of a six-month deal at Norwich following a trial at Carrow Road, announced his move on Twitter.
He wrote: "Delighted to announce that I have officially signed for Arsenal FC. Can't wait to see what the next two seasons here have in store for me."

   Arsenal have completed the signing of Portugal defender Cedric Soares from Southampton. The 28-year-old has joined Mikel Arteta's side on loan until the end of the season but he only has six months remaining on his contract at Southampton. He will compete alongside Hector Bellerin for the right-back slot with the Gunners and revealed he nearly joined the club previously in his career, but did not specify when.
