Arsene Wenger might have broken his traditional bank balance this time by landing in the signing Arsenal fan base was waiting for but they are in a serious chance of landing one of the best Barcelona talents next summer for absolutely free. As there were some rumors of Bacary Sagna leaving the Emirates last season, Arsenal might be in a hunt for a quality replacement and according to the critics Montoya from the Spanish giant will be a more than good replacement for the Arsenal veteran.
The Daily Mirror has triggered several rumors suggesting the Gunners are laying the groundwork to talk to Martin Montoya, one of the current crops of youngsters at Barcelona, with the potential of signing him for nothing at the end of the season. The 22 year old world class talent who is cited by many as one of the best La Masia products is starting this season at uncertainty and it will be interesting to see whether he signs the new contract or not.
He is also in fear to be overlooked by Vicente del Bosque for Spain.
Carl Jenkinson is currently the backup option to Sagna at right back and if Arsenal could tie Montoya down to a long term deal, it would mean that position is covered for the club over the immediate future. So as Arsenal have presented Fabregas and Song to Arsenal and with Arsenal in need of a quality Right Back its time for Barcelona to return the favor.

Arsenal are reportedly running the rule over young Dutch international Jetro Willems as Arsene Wenger looks to ably add strength in depth to the left side of the Gunners defence. The teenage PSV Eindhoven starlet was part of Bert Van Marwijk’s Euro 2012 squad and is a player who has shown a great deal of potential since his move to the Philips Stadion in the summer of 2011.
