According to El Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid will be attempting to sign Monaco’s Radamel Falcao in the January transfer window which will allow Arsenal sign Karim Benzema if they still have interested in the French striker.
Falcao only just signed for Monaco in the just concluded summer transfer window and there were speculations that the Colombian have in his contract a clause which will make it possible for him to join Real Madrid should he decide to. Although this rumour was instantly dismissed. It is very clear that Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez who is in charge of all transfers at Real Madrid rates Falcao having attempted to sign the striker when he was at Athletico Madrid.
El Mundo Deportivo are reporting the man who is responsible for the signing of players such as Ronaldo De Lima, Cristiano Ronalod, Zidane, Figo and the likes is already dreaming of an attacking trio of Cristiano Ronaldo, Falcao and Bale.
Should he succeed in signing Falcao, it is believed he will let Benzema sign for any other club with Arsenal leading the chasing pack. Benzema was linked to a move to Arsenal in the just concluded window but as Real Madrid could not succeed in their late attempt to sign Luiz Suarez from Liverpool, Arsenal was stopped from signing the French man.
Wenger is a long term admirer of Karim Benzema and it won’t be surprising if he ends up signing his fellow French man should Real Madrid be able to get a worthy replacement.

Arsenal have completed a deal to sign Runar Alex Runarsson from Dijon today, as confirmed by their official website. Runarsson joined Dijon from FC Nordsjaelland, and although he started as first choice, underwhelming performances saw him lose his place to Alfred Gomis. He played 45 games for the Ligue 1 side.
