I would be nothing without Arsenal says Song Published On: Mon, Aug 20th, 2012 Alex Song has now confirmed that he is close to a move to Barcelona and also reveals that he will always be thankfull to the support, that the gunners provided him.
I will be nothing without Arsenal and i want to thank all the fans for their support during my six years stay, says Song. Arsenal agreed a fee with Song of £15m and the deal was announced by both clubs on their official websites yesterday. Song will join Barcelona and wear the number 25 shirt on a five year deal with an €80m release clause in his contract.

Arsenal complete signing of Cedric Soares from Southampton.

   Arsenal have completed the signing of Portugal defender Cedric Soares from Southampton. The 28-year-old has joined Mikel Arteta's side on loan until the end of the season but he only has six months remaining on his contract at Southampton. He will compete alongside Hector Bellerin for the right-back slot with the Gunners and revealed he nearly joined the club previously in his career, but did not specify when. This has been the expectation of  so many fans, they have demanded for a proper cover for the right full back instead of using Niles in the wrong position which has cost the team some few times.
