Arsenal’s star Alex Song has arrived at Barcelona, where he will have to fight with Bousquets for the defensive midfielder role in the Catalan squad.
The Cameroon international has finally left Arsenal, leaving a very bitter taste in Wenger’s mouth and a very big frustration in his soul. The Frenchman confirmed his frustration when he declared that he picked up Song when he was a kid unknown to the world, turned him into a world-class star and just when Song was starting to show off his amazing talent he left for Barca. Arsenal anchorman Matteo Guendouzi has made a switch to Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin on season-long loan deal. The 21-year-old Frenchman hasn’t played for Mikel Arteta’s side since a 2-1 loss to Brighton in June, during which he was involved in a fracas with Neal Maupay. The Frenchman has joined the Gunners from Ligue 1 outfits Lorient back in 2018, having started his career in the academy of PSG.
