We Are Buying A Defender and A Midfielder - Wenger Arsene Wenger has confirmed the transfer window is not over yet for Arsenal as he intends to bring in a defender and a midfielder. "We are looking to bring one more midfielder in of course, and maybe one defender as well because we still feel we are short in some positions, This would almost confirm Nuri Sahin's capture and a very likely Philippe Mexes/ Nicklas Bendtner deal. Sahin is expected to sign by Tuesday after he was omitted from Real Madrid's team that drew 1-1 with Valencia.
