M'villa To Arsenal, Sahin To Liverpool

The Sahin transfer saga seems to be coming to an end and its not a too good news for Arsenal. Liverpool looks set to sign the Turkish midfielder on loan from Real Madrid despite that Arsenal is his preferred choice. This was confirmed by Liverpool coach, Bredan Rodgers who claim they are almost signing him.

"Hopefully in the next 24 hours we'll get some confirmation," said Reds boss Brendan Rodgers. "It's quite far [along]. He's a very good footballer."

This leaves us to start looking at signing Yann M'villa from Rennes. Yann could be the best player to sign now that can effectively replace Alex Song. Sahin's deal has been stalled over wages to be paid and a buy-out option. Jose Mourinho insisted he is not planning to sell the player after a loan deal with any of the clubs while Arsene Wenger would need asssurance he can sign the midfielder if he does well at the club.It would not be a bad idea trying to buy him after a loan deal since we are helping him get his feet back after a long while out. Mourinho can't have it his way with us so its better we forget his deal.

From how things are moving now, we can but only get Yann M'villa into the team. It would have been great getting Sahin but signing M'villa wouldn't do any bad. He is a top quality player that would blend easily with our team. M'villa is almost certain to leave Rennes this season with Rennes general manager, Pierre Dreossi confirming he could leave as there are offers for him from clubs which includes Arsenal.

Pierre Dreossi said:

"For the moment, there are three offers. There is no agreement. We enter negotiations this week and hope to find a solution,"

"I think that it will be done by the end of this week or the beginning of next.

"It's a complicated project with clubs who are not even internally agreed (Tottenham), and clubs that Yann does not want to go to (Zenit).

"There is even a percentage chance that Yann could stay at Rennes this year.

"Arsenal? Maybe, you'll have to call Arsene (Wenger). But when Song leaves, we must say that Arsenal will reinforce that post. Same thing for a club that sells to Arsenal.

"We maintain our price tag of around 20 million euros."

We can only wait to see what we happen in the next few days even as the transfer window comes to a close next week.
