Nuri Sahin Passes Arsenal Medical

According to reports in German media, Real Madrid midfielder, Nuri Sahin has passed his medical at Arsenal as he finalises a year long loan move to the Emirates stadium. The former Borrusia Dortmund star had been linked with a move to Liverpool aswell, however the chance of playing Champions League football at Emirates made him choose Arsenal over Liverpool. The deal is expected to be officially announced within the next 24 hours and the player is expected to be in Arsenal squad for trip to Stoke on Sunday.

After the summer debacle of ‘ I want to go’, ‘ no, you cannot and will not be sold’ and after serving his ban for biting Ivanovic, Suarez has returned to action for Liverpool. He made his comeback in the loss to Manchester United but bagged a brace in the win over Sunderland. Is all well now or is it just an attempt to sweep the issue under the carpet till another transfer window is opened and their resolve to hang on to him tested? Arsenal are reportedly running the rule over young Dutch international Jetro Willems as Arsene Wenger looks to ably add strength in depth to the left side of the Gunners defence.
