Swap Bid For Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner

Interesting transfer news are out claiming that AC Milan are planning a swap bid for Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. The Daily Mail reported that the Italian giants are prepared to offer Arsenal Philippe Mexes in a deal to land wantaway striker Bendtner. The major stumbling block could be the France international’s £80,000-a-week wages, but Milan may give him a pay-off to push through the deal.

Arsenal In Talks With Cheikhou Kouyate – Confirms Player’s Agent

Arsenal could be closing in on the signing of Senegalese defender Cheikhou Kouyate. His agent claims he has held talks with Arsenal over a potential move and states that the Gunners are keen on signing the centre-back. Arsenal were keen on getting him in the summer but doubts over him receiving work permit dissuaded Wenger from pressing on with the deal but now that he has received Belgian passport which makes him eligible to play anywhere across Europe, Arsenal might just be set to rekindle their interest and if words from the agent are anything to go by, they have already done so. In fairness, while Messi was excellent once again during 2013, you couldn’t really begrudge Ronaldo winning the award as he was simply sensational.  Things may have turned out differently had Messi not picked up a couple of ill-timed injuries, but I think the right man won in the end.
