Song passes Barca medical

Alex Song has passed his medical with Barcelona as he puts the finishing touches on his £15millon move from Arsenal.
The 24-year-old Cameroon midfielder underwent his medical tests with the club on Monday morning and is now set to put pen-to-paper on a five-year contract with the Spanish giants on Monday afternoon. Doctor Ricard Pruna said of Song on www.fcbarcelona.com: "He has a very low body fat percentage and very good muscle quality. All the tests have come out satisfactorily and he is available to the coach.

Arsenal complete signing of Cedric Soares from Southampton.

   Arsenal have completed the signing of Portugal defender Cedric Soares from Southampton. The 28-year-old has joined Mikel Arteta's side on loan until the end of the season but he only has six months remaining on his contract at Southampton. He will compete alongside Hector Bellerin for the right-back slot with the Gunners and revealed he nearly joined the club previously in his career, but did not specify when.
