Malaga youngster subject of keen interest from both Arsenal and Tottenham
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur
have been battling out over common targets throughout the summer, the
latest being the highly talented Malaga youngster Isco.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, the 20-year-old has been targeted by Spurs as a possible replacement for Luka Modric, who officially joined Real Madrid for a reported fee of £33m.
The Spanish U-21 international, joined Malaga after graduating from Valencia academy, has scored five league goals in 32 appearances for the club.
Arsenal have also registered their interest for the Spaniard as Wenger is looking forward to adding a quality replacement after the departure of Cameroon international Alex Song to Barcelona.
